SMUGF Grapple Zone

*We begin with a hype video for the Matt Sydal/Homicide match. Mentioning that the match tonight will be in Maximum Grand Prix Crowning King tournament. We then go the SHOW OPEN*

After the opening we head into our first match. Heading to the ring is the team of MATT CROSS and SHANNON MOORE, THE WALKING DEAD. As they jump into the ring, "Face the Pain" by Stemm comes on and out come GROUND AND POUND. With JIM CORNETTE by their side, DANIEL PUDER and NICK DINSMORE are all business. Starting the match are Matt Cross and Nick Dinsmore. Despite the flying expertise of Cross, he can't overcome Dinsmore's technical ability. Barely escaping an arm bar, Cross tags in Moore. At the urging of Cornette, Dinsmore tags in MMA Star Daniel Puder. From the get go, Puder dominates Moore. Knocking down Moore with a shot to the jaw, Puder jumps on top and lands punch after punch onto Moore's face. Not being able to get protect himself, Moore is forced to tap out.

Winners- Ground and Pound

After the match, Puder continues the decimation of Shannon Moore. Matt Cross tries to save his partner but gets hit with a big German suplex from Nick Dinsmore for his effort. With both men down, Ground and Pound stand proudly with Cornette.

We're back and a bandaged up LUKE HAWX is in the ring. He talks about how THE SANDMAN beat him down last week. He got advice from his uncle and knows he can beat Sandman tonight. The familiar opening of "Enter Sandman" plays and there he is! The Sandman heads through the crowd with cane and beer in tow. He jumps the barricade and chugs down the beer. He enters the ring and Hawx immediately goes in for the attack. With speed on his side, Hawx nails a couple of kicks to the legs. He hits the ropes and BAM! Sandman hits a huge clothesline. In what is almost a replay of last week, The Sandman just overpowers the smaller Hawx. Using his cane Sandman hits the White Russian Leg Sweep for the pin fall.

Winner- The Sandman

As The Sandman heads to the back, we catch a glimpse of Hawx cursing himself for losing again.

We cut backstage and MATT SYDAL cuts a promo on Homicide. Saying that just in case Low Ki thinks he can interfere, AJ Styles will be at ringside.

We come back from commercial and we're backstage with THE ROTTWEILERS. HOMICIDE laughs off Sydal's threat. "Seriously? This little bitch is gonna take me down? I'm from f***ing Brooklyn! I ain't gonna get taken down by some punk ass bitch. You're just gonna be another dead motherf***er on my way to the top. Blllat!"

We head back to the ring just in time to see the debuting SCOTTY 2 HOTTY head to the ring! Dancing his way to the ring, the arena can't help but get into it. Cutting off the Scotty's familiar music is the sound of a pitbull barking and heavy guitar. To Icepick's "Onward to Victory" comes THE WRESTLING MACHINE. The masked man heads to the ring. No pyro, no pandering to the crowd, just business. As soon as the bell rings, Scotty tries to use his speed and agility to win but it doesn't faze The Wrestling Machine. Just as fast as Scotty, Machine is able to take Scotty down with a flurry of kicks and punches. Smelling blood in the water, Machine locks in the crossface chicken wing and Scotty instantly taps out.

Winner- The Wrestling Machine

Before he is even announced the winner, Machine walks to the back. As he walks up the ramp, Jim Cornette is on the stage applauding the impressive star.

*Commercial*

We're in the back and Jeff Hardy cuts a promo. "It seems some people have forgotten I'm in the Crowning King tournament. Been on the sidelines for awhile. But trust me, I will be winning it all and I'll be paying close attention to Sydal and Homicide."

We head back to the ring as the lights go out. The familiar Kill Bill into starts and the fans boo loudly. Talking trash, HOMICIDE and LOW KI head to the ring. The lights come up and Alkaline Trio's "Clavicle" begins. Running to the ring are AJ STYLES and MATT SYDAL. Dashing into the ring, Styles and Sydal immediately take it to The Rottweilers. Brawling all over the ring, it takes the ref awhile to get Styles and Ki out of the ring. Still brawling, Homicide overwhelms Sydal with his size. Homicide hits the Three Amigos suplex but only gets a two count. Getting up, Homicide waits for Sydal to get up and miss a running lariat. With this opportunity, Sydal hits a quick hurricanrana. With Homicide dazed, Sydal hits the inverted leg drop bulldog for the pin but Homicide kicks out at two and a half. With Homicide still on the ground, Sydal goes to the top rope for the shooting star press. Suddenly, both Sydal and the ref are distracted with Ki and Styles who brawl outside of the ring. While the ref sends Low Ki and AJ Styles to the back, Homicide has enough time to get up and throw Sydal off the top with an overhead belly to belly suplex. Picking Sydal up off the mat, Homicide hits Da Cop Killa for the 1-2-3.

Winner- Homicide

Homicide gets in to the cameraman's face making the belt around the waist motion and saying "I'm coming for the gold Hardy." We fade to black as Homicide celebrates on the ring post.

This is an exciting week in the history of SMUGF. First, the bad news. Unfortunately, we had to release not only Bob Sapp but also Razor Ramon HG. Although we wish them the best, we have to look to the future. With that said, we have found two wrestlers that can more than fill their shoes. The first is a man who has worked all over the world. Despite being surrounded by controversy, he is a world class competitor and a legend in Mexico. We are proud to welcome to the SMUGF family, Vampiro.


The other man is one of the most reliable men in professional wrestling. He is a master of the Cruiserweight and tag team style of wrestling. We are proud to welcome Scotty 2 Hotty.



That's not all folks. We also have one of the most exciting, action packed shows yet. We will see the Maximum Grand Prix Crowning King tournament continue with a much anticipated rematch. Wanting revenge for being brutalized two weeks ago, it's gonna be Matt Sydal vs Homicide.

We'll also have the highly anticipated debut of the team of Nick Dinsmore and Daniel Puder, Ground and Pound. They will be facing off with the team of Matt Cross and Shannon Moore, The Walking Dead. In cooperation with Golden Crown Wrestling, we bring to you the latest exchange in talent. Although we are saddened to lose Johnny Parisi, we are pleased to present our latest acquisition. Having held titles in WCW, HWA, and OMEGA he is a man with plenty of experience. SMUGF is proud to welcome Shannon Moore to our roster.

*We get the show opening featuring Ace of Spades. As the pyro goes off we get shots of cheering fans and the announcers saying tonight they will continue the Maximum Grand Prix Crowning King tournament in the main event. It's going to be LOW KI vs. AJ STYLES*

We head straight to the ring. First out is BxB HULK with dancers in tow. All in white, they dance to the ring in spectacular fashion. After things calm down MILANO COLLECTION AT comes out with his own posse and invisible dog, stealing the show. The match is fairly even early on with each countering one another. Milano gets the upper hand when BxB misses a missile dropkick. Taking advantage, Milano picks up BxB and hits the Italian Revolution for the pin fall.

After the match, both men and their posses come face to face like a scene out of Westside Story. After a brief moment of tension, BxB raises Milano's hand as both groups dance around them.

Back from commercial, we get another promo for GROUND AND POUND. JIM CORNETTE notes each member's strengths. DINSMORE for his technical skill while a clip of him making guys tap out in practice is shown. He then talks about DANIEL PUDER's skill in not only wrestling but also MMA. We see clips of PUDER doing getting in the guard and destroying training partner with punches. Cornette announces that they'll debut next week.

We go to the ring and the Southern Stomper LUKE HAWX makes rushes to the ring. Then Metallica's "Enter Sandman" rings through the arena. The camera frantically searches the crowd trying to find THE SANDMAN. Suddenly, he's found with beer flying and cane swinging! Coming over the barricade he comes straight for Hawx. With his signature weapon, he beats down on Hawx with stiff cane shots. Beaten into unconsciousness, the ref calls for the bell. Grabbing another beer, Sandman chugs it down as the ref announces him the winner.

Back from commercial the team of MATT CROSS and JACK EVANS head to the ring. From the back come the team of JIMMY YANG and KEIJI MUTO. Both men head to the ring in suits and sunglasses as "Clubbed to Death" blasts through the speakers. The match starts fast with Yang and Cross in the ring. After quick action from the two, both make the hot tag. Despite the speed of Evans, Keiji Muto is able to hit the shining wizard. With a Corkscrew 450 splash from Jimmy Yang the team of Yang and Muto get the win.

We come back from commercial and it's time for the main event. First to the ring is LOW KI with fellow Rottweiler, HOMICIDE, by his side. Then in his black hooded vest, AJ STYLES makes his way to the ring. Despite some early chops from Low Ki, AJ Styles tries to go for the quick win with a sunset flip but gets a ghetto stomp for his trouble. Ki stays on offense with quick kicks and punches. He throws AJ into the ropes but he comes back with the jumping superman punch. Making sure Low Ki stays down, AJ Styles goes up top and hits the Spiral Tap for a two count. Homicide interferes which lets Ki hit AJ with the rolling Koppou Kick and Black Magic. Going to the top, Ki jumps attempting a corkscrew moonsault but AJ catches him! Moving Ki into position, AJ hits the styles clash for the pin fall!
WINNER- AJ Styles

After the match, Homicide comes into the ring and both Rottweilers attack AJ. From the back comes out Matt Sydal! Out for revenge from last week, he kicks breaks it up before the Rottweillers head up the ramp. With the coast clear, Sydal challenges Homicide for a rematch next week. This time with a spot in the Maximum Grand Prix Crowning King tournament on the line. We can see the Rottweilers swearing up the ramp as we go off the air.

Next week on SMUGF, we have the debut of not just one but two international sensations. Winner of the NJPW 2007 Best of the Super Juniors MILANO COLLECTION AT will face off with Dragon Gate sensation BxB HULK

Not only that but we have hardcore legend THE SANDMAN in his first match in SMUGF. He will be facing off with "Southern Stomper" LUKE HAWX. These two men will face off in SMUGF's very first hardcore match!

The show opens with PAUL HEYMAN standing in the middle of the ring, spotlight shining on him. Heyman talks about a new beginning. "A new era for the world of pro wrestling. An era where technical masters and brawlers stand side by side. People devoting their heart, their soul, and their bodies for a new revolution. This isn't extreme, this isn't sports entertainment, this is Super Mega Ultra Grapple Fight! Cue to pyro and ballyhoo!!!" Then, pyro goes off that would make Wrestlemania jealous.

*Show Open- Wrestling action set to Motorhead's Ace of Spades*

After being welcomed back by the announcers, we go to our first match. First to the ring, in his US television return, ULTIMO DRAGON. After streamers are thrown for the returning star, JACK EVANS comes to the ring. The match is full of high flying action in and outside of the ring. Dragon picks up the victory when he hits the Asai DDT for the pin fall.
Winner- Ultimo Dragon

We go to a backstage interview with JIM CORNETTE hyping up the team GROUND AND POUND, DANIEL PUDER and NICK DINSMORE. Cornette makes note of their technical abilities and their upcoming debut.

We head back to the ring and SHARK BOY is making his entrance. The crowd, especially the children, go wild for the dweller of the sea. SHARKY gets in the ring and Black Sabbath's 'Iron Man' plays over the loudspeakers. From the back comes a mysterious masked man. In all black gear, he enters the ring and announced as "THE WRESTLING MACHINE". With speed and power, The Wrestling Machine dominates with swift kicks and punches. Out of nowhere he hits a face buster and from the ground locks in the crossface chickenwing for the submission win.

We're back from commercial and out comes MATT SYDAL for the next match. He stands in the ring and the lights go out. Red lights start flashing and the Rottweilers, LOW KI and HOMICIDE, head to the ring. Homicide gets in the ring and goes after Sydal. Homicide has the upper hand until Sydal cartwheels out of the way of a lariat. Sydal gets close to the winning until he tries to hit the Cyclorama. Not being able to lift the heavier Homicide, Homicide catches Sydal with an Ace Crusher from the top rope. He covers Sydal for the 1-2-3. After the match Low Ki comes in the ring and gives Homicide a fork. Homicide goes to town on Sydal's forehead leaving him a bloody mess as The Rottweilers soak in the boos.

We're back from commercial and we go to the announcers and they let us know that next week MILANO COLLECTION AT will make his debut against another international star, BXB HULK.

Paul Heyman returns to the ring and announces that up next will be the first match in the Maximum Grand Prix Crowning King tournament for the Ultra King of SMUGF title. Heyman gets out of the ring and goes to the announcer booth as a guest commentator.

First to the ring is the legendary TIGER MASK. Once Tiger's music stops, the lights dim and for a few moments, silence. Then a familiar drum beat begins and out comes SMUGF's latest acquisition JEFF HARDY! The crowd roars as he makes his way to the ring. Tiger Mask and Jeff Hardy shake hands before the match starts. As soon as the bell rings the match turns into a blur. Lots of back and forth, high flying action from the two. Tiger Mask goes for the diving headbutt but misses. Taking this advantage, Jeff Hardy goes up top and hits the Swanton Bomb for the pin fall.
Winner- Jeff Hardy

Helping his opponent up, Hardy raises both of their hands up. We see the crowd go wild for these two warriors before we fade to black.

This Just In!!! SUPER MEGA ULTRA GRAPPLE FIGHT has come to an agreement with ELITE WRESTLING SOCIETY and has acquired former winner of the Best of the Super Juniors, Milano Collection AT!
